The Bridgeview Foundation is proud to announce the success of our 2024 Back-to-school event, in which we continued to invest in the future of our youth and celebrated their achievements!
The event was successful with the help of numerous organizations and individuals, including Food for the Poor Jamaica, Love and Power Ministries Deliverance Center, Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation, Dilly Chris Music, Fastener Dimensions, Siana Foundation, M&M Cup Family, Jam Delivery, FJ Finplan Consulting LLC, Peipers & Kojen and Knights Meat & Food Ltd, Utech Community Service Department, The Way: Empowering Missions International, NonStop Entertainment USA and many other individuals!
🌟 Scholarship Highlights: This year, we awarded a 5-year scholarship valued at 200,000 JMD to the top-performing PEP student in the Maryland District. Along with the scholarship, the student received a Chromebook and a backpack filled with school supplies to prepare them for their academic journey.
✍️ Essay Competition: Three talented essay winners each took home a Chromebook for their outstanding writing!
📚 Book Certificates and Supplies: We distributed 200 book certificates, valued at 5,000 JMD, each and other essential school supplies to support students across the district.
🍦 A Day of Fun and Treats: Over 200 children enjoyed a day of excitement and laughter. We treated them to ice cream, hot dogs, snow cones, and refreshing juices. The kids had a blast with entertainment from a clown, bouncy houses, and the thrill of rock climbing.
